Our Story

Stick-me-ups is a New Zealand based company that has created a fantastic range of kid's wall decor and personalised stickers. We realise how busy and hectic life can be nowadays, so to make your shopping experience as enjoyable as possible we've tried to make every aspect of Stick-me-ups website and ordering process easy and hassle-free.

When Ian Thomson, Graphic Designer and co-founder of Stick-me-ups, was searching for wall decorations (that weren't promoting some big name movie) to decorate his sons room, he came to a stand-still. Ian wanted the decoration to be more than simply 'pretty pictures', he also wanted them to have a personalised element. So he ended up designing his own artwork, using his sons name, that he printed out on paper and glued around the room.

With the encouragement of friends who saw these first designs, he started to develop a whole range of themes...which led to Ian wondering if he could get the designs printed on a removable material. After heaps of research into printing and production he found a way to produce the designs on a fantastic removable stock that would allow people to easily stick, reposition on application and peel-off without leaving any mess or damaging the wall's surface.

Ian further researched children's interior decor that were available and found that there was a lack of inspiring design themes available and very few personalised products, and so Stick-me-ups was created.

Research and development is very important to Stick-me-ups, which enable us to constantly improve the product and create new themes that meet our customer's high standards and expectations. Our customer's opinions are of the utmost importance to us and we take all comments and suggestions on board, so that we can continue to meet the needs of busy parents.
